Benefits of membership in the Portland Culinary Alliance include members-only programs, subscription to the quarterly newsletter “The First Course,” subscription to the regional food and wine magazine Northwest Palate, and a 10 percent discount on retail items at In Good Taste in Portland’s Pearl District. There are four categories for membership:

  • Professional members – $60 annual dues ($30 mid-year)
  • Non-resident professional members, i.e., living outside of Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Yamhill, Marion, Polk, Columbia or Clark counties – $40 dues ($20 mid-year)
  • Corporate members (includes three memberships) – $150 dues, with each additional member at $40 ($75/$20 mid-year)
  • Students in professional training programs for the food, beverage or wine industry – $25 dues ($15 mid-year)
